Beyonce Has Her Pulse on Her Fans with A New Fragrance That Women Are Sure To Love. What’s a pop diva to do while she’s pregnant and incubating the next heir to the hip hop throne? Why come out with a new perfume fragrance of course. Beyonce Knowles (Mrs. Jay-Z) has just come out with her third fragrance call Pulse.

She previewed the new fragrance at Macy’s in New York City and did a meet and greet with the first 500 of her fans. She looked dazzling in a very chic white gown as she posed for pictures and signed autographs with her fans. “I always get excited to really shake hands and look people in the eye and really see the impact that I have been able to have in people’s lives, because sometimes you don’t get to really see it.” said Beyonce.

So, exactly what does Pulse smell like? “This is all about Citrus, but it also has a vanilla in the back. It is important to me for a fragrance not to just smell like one thing.” said the Pop Diva.

How did she come up with the new fragrance? Well, Beyonce said she let the fragrance lab people experiment on her. They would give her various scents and she would tell them what she liked and what she didn’t like. She wore the base fragrance for about six months. She asked others what they thought about the fragrance as well. She asked her fans. She asked her mom. She even asked Jay-Z. In the end she picked the fragrance that she liked the best and got the best feedback about.

The bottle for pulse is very attractive. It’s a beautiful sparkling blue with a silver holder. The heart features a Bluebird orchid. I believe this is the first time a fragrance ever used it. There are also notes of delicate peony and intensive midnight blooming jasmine. The base is warm of the scent is sensual and irresistible, made with Madagascar vanilla, musk and precious woods.
The bottle is modern, faceted and designed to look like it’s upside down. The lead fragrance designer is rumored to be Bruno Jovanovic.
Where can you find Pulse? Initially it will be carried by Macy’s but it will soon be available everywhere.
